In Settings, then Emails, set the from name and from email. That is the name in the inbox. A reply-to address is there so answers come back to you.
An organization can store a Resend API key, and payroll email checks that a key is on file before it sends. The settings screen you use day to day is the sender identity plus the Gmail connection. This page does not invent extra Resend clicks that are not on that screen.
If you would rather send from a mailbox you already open, connect Gmail with an app password. Those messages come from that Gmail address, and replies land in that inbox.
Until Gmail is connected, client email falls back to the shared sender. System emails such as signup and password reset always send from TidyWise.
