Connect OpenPhone

  1. Get the key and the number ID In OpenPhone, open your number. The phone number ID is in that number's URL or settings. Create an API key in OpenPhone. TidyWise does not invent a shorter path than the one OpenPhone shows.
  2. Save them in TidyWise SMS settings ask for the OpenPhone API key and the phone number ID. Leave the key blank on a later save if you want to keep the key already on file.
  3. Turn on the messages Enable SMS, then the booking confirmation and the appointment reminder if you want those. A reminder can be set a number of hours before the job. Send a test only after the key and the number ID are saved.

The settings card covers booking confirmation and appointment reminders through OpenPhone. Invoice reminder texts also send through OpenPhone when payment reminders are turned on.

Cleaners tap On My Way on the job to text the client. That is the staff app, and it uses the texting setup on the account. GPS sharing during On My Way is separate from the API key and is explained in the staff location prompt.

No. You bring your own OpenPhone number and API key. TidyWise sends through that number. It does not issue a TidyWise SMS line.
